Delete your GetLadle account
You can delete your account yourself, in the app, in a minute. This page says how, and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account
- Open GetLadle and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings. In the Account section, find Delete account and tap Delete.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.
What is deleted
Your account and sign-in, and the recipes, cookbooks, meal plans, shopping lists, events you host, circles you created, photos, and notifications that belong to you. Images you uploaded are removed too. You are also taken out of circles you only joined.
What is kept
Content that belongs to other people stays with them, such as an event or cookbook you only took part in. If you triggered a notification in someone else’s feed, the notification stays but your email, name, and photo are removed from it. Dishes you had signed up for at someone else’s event are released for other guests. A report that another person filed about your conduct is kept for safety.
Timing
Deletion starts as soon as you confirm, and you are signed out when it finishes. It cannot be undone. Your account cannot be used to sign in again afterwards.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid plan. Cancel it first in Google Play, the App Store, or Settings on getladle.com, depending on where you bought it.
Cannot sign in?
Email support@getladle.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.
