What GetLadle does

GetLadle is the food organiser for people who feed people.

Is GetLadle private? Who can see my recipes?

Private by default. A recipe you save is visible only to you and to the Circles you share it with. You can choose to make a recipe public. Public recipes appear on the Explore page, where anyone can see them and search engines can find them. Your name stays off a public recipe unless you turn it on. You can switch a recipe back to private at any time.

How is GetLadle different from SignUpGenius or a potluck sign-up sheet?

Sign-up sheets track who's bringing what. GetLadle tracks who's bringing what and the actual recipe, plus dietary flags, a shared cookbook for the group, and a private Circle that persists event to event. You don't start from a blank spreadsheet every time.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests click a link, see the event, claim a dish, and you're done. Only the host needs an account.

Is there really a free tier?

Yes. Apprentice is free forever, and includes unlimited events up to 25 guests per event. Events stay free on every tier because invitations are how GetLadle grows.

Can I use GetLadle on my phone?

Yes. There is an iPhone app on the App Store, and GetLadle also runs in the browser on any phone or computer. One account works across both. An Android app is coming soon.
