A creator program for food creators in Europe and the UK
If you share food content from the UK, Switzerland or any of 29 European Economic Area countries, you can be paid by the GetLadle Creator Program. It pays 30% recurring commission on each paid invoice for up to 12 monthly payments. Commission is paid monthly in Canadian dollars once your balance reaches CA$25, and Stripe converts it to your local currency. Creators handle their own VAT or GST and income tax. It is free to join, and the program is web only.
Creators in the UK, Switzerland and the EEA can be paid in their local currency, with no fee to join.
What is different for creators in Europe and the UK
A creator program's rate only matters if it can pay you where you live. If you cook and post from London, Dublin, Berlin, Paris, Zurich or anywhere across the EEA, the first question is whether the money can reach your bank. For GetLadle it can, in your local currency.
Where you can be paid
- United Kingdom
- Switzerland
- European Economic Area (29 countries): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden
Add Canada and the United States and the program pays in 33 countries.
How the money reaches you
- A customer subscribes through your link or code on the GetLadle website and pays.
- The commission is held for 30 days and confirmed if the payment was not refunded or charged back.
- Commission is calculated on the amount GetLadle receives in Canadian dollars, because customers pay in their own currency.
- Payouts are monthly, once your confirmed balance reaches CA$25. Smaller balances roll over.
- Stripe collects your bank and identity details and converts the Canadian dollars to your local currency at its own exchange rate.
| Term | Detail |
|---|---|
| Commission | 30% recurring on each paid invoice, up to 12 monthly payments; an annual plan pays once |

| Cost to join | None; approval is usually automatic |
Tax and VAT
Creators outside Canada handle their own VAT or GST and income tax. The exchange rate Stripe uses can change what you receive in your own currency. We cannot give tax advice, so check with an accountant who knows your country.
Be straight with your audience
Every post needs #ad at the start of the caption, a spoken or on-screen disclosure inside the video, and the platform paid-partnership setting. If your country has its own advertising rules, follow those too. Say only what is true, and make no health, saving-money or income claims.
How GetLadle suits the recipes you already post
Viewers can paste a link to your TikTok or Instagram recipe into GetLadle and it reads the caption to extract ingredients, steps and servings where you included them. They can plan the week, build a shopping list (the automatic list from the plan is on paid plans), cook step by step with Cook Mode and share with friends in private circles. There is a free plan, so they can try it before they pay.
On top of commission, GetLadle applies a free Sous Chef or Head Chef month when you meet a published monthly target. Perks are non-cash and discretionary. The program is web only and makes no income promises: earnings depend on your audience.
Terms and the application are on the Creator Program page.
Frequently asked questions
Which European countries can be paid?
The United Kingdom, Switzerland and the EEA countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Together with Canada and the United States that makes 33 countries.
What currency will I receive?
Payouts are made in Canadian dollars through Stripe, which converts them to your local currency, such as euros, pounds or Swiss francs, at its own exchange rate. The amount can differ from the Canadian dollar figure.
Do I handle my own VAT and taxes?
Yes. Creators outside Canada are responsible for their own VAT or GST and income tax. We cannot give tax advice, so ask an accountant what applies to you.
I live elsewhere in Europe. Can I still join?
You can apply and earn commission, but payouts outside the listed countries are not available yet. We are adding more. Email hello@getladle.com with where you live and we will let you know when that changes.
